Lizzie Kate Exchange from Karen

I received this exchange from Karen in Australia while on my bus trip to New Orleans so I'm a bit slow in posting.  Thanks Karen, I love him.  My partner has received her exchange piece but has not posted the photo to the Exchange.  I forgot to take a photo, so I cannot show you what I stitched for her.  Maybe she will at a later date.

The trip to NOLA was fun and wet.  It rained on us most of the time.  A little rain did not dampen our spirits though.  Did a few of the NOLA things to do.  Will post them at a later date.

Winter Seasonal for Karen

I heard from Karen that she received the Winter Seasonal Exchange piece I sent her.  I was somewhat worried about the package getting to its destination because it sat in Tulsa distribution center over a day before it got on the road.  I chose an old design from the 1990's to stitch.  The price tag on the design was $1.00.  You know the design is old by the price!  Here it is:

I didn't notice until after I had the piece packaged and ready to mail I forgot to stitch the belt!.  As my good friend says, We just do the best we can.  I need to start taking a photo of the stitching before I do the finishing.  I still think he's a cutie.  

On the stitching front I'm working on my HoE Santa Ornament exchange piece.  It is going slow, slow.  Hopefully I'll get the stitching done this week.  Speaking of stitching, I guess I'd better get busy.  Have a good evening.  I believe we are in for some rain tonight.  Good sleeping or should I say, good stitching weather.
