I heard from Carol S. that she received the SBEBB ABC exchange ( a no goody exchange this time) I stitched for her. It is the Sarah's ABC Pincushion from The BBD's book Thank You, Sarah Tobias. I used the recommended fiber, Autumn Twilight Silk, by Thread Gatherer. It was stitched on 32ct. antique ivory fabric. It was such a great stitch, that I'm planning on doing it again real soon, like next week.
No more photos to show. I'm stitching on an exchange piece right now, and it is going very slow.
Here's a photo of Sarah's ABC pincushion:Here's wishing all my readers and new found stitching friends a very Happy New Year and lots of great stitching!

What a sweet pincushion. Nice job!
I look forward to seeing the exchange photos.
Take care!
Precious pincushion, Becky! Lovely color of silk. Have a great week and get lots of stitching in!!
So lovely, Becky! Lately I was leafing through the Sarah Tobias book in search of a new BBD design to stitch in 2009. And I will stitch this pincushion, too. I can understand that you want to stitch it for yourself again.
I've stitched this, but still haven't finished it! Yours is wonderful, and I love the floss you used!!!
This is lovely, I hope to get to this some day too, all the ST charts are pretty :)
What a nice pincushion. I have the book and keep meaning to stitch this design but other designs seem to push it back --- maybe this month after I finish my current Merry Cox piece. A friend has signed up for the online class through the Shining Needle Society and she has pushed me to keep up with the assignments as we both bought the kit a couple of years ago. This is the push to stitch it! Again, beautiful pincushion.
That is beautiful! Happy New Year Becky!
I love this! I have the book and do admire almost all the designs in it and seeing yours now I want to do it too!
Thanks for sharing!
Hi Becky -- this was the perfect design for the ABC exchange. I'm sure that Carol must love it!
It's such a beautiful exchange, great job!!
This pattern is one I've wanted to stitch from the Sarah Tobias book, but I've been holding out until I could buy the recommended floss. By happy accident, I just purchased it yesterday. Your finish is lovely!
