Long time, no post

Now that my housesitting job is over I can settle back into my normal routine. Stitchwise I have nothing to show, although I have been stitching. I finished the stitching part of my friend's birthday. Now I need to do the beading. Finally decided on a pattern to do for my Autumn Quaker exchange. It's something I would be happy to get, so hope my partner likes it.

Saturday/Sunday is the humane society's spay/neuter clinic. We have about 100 cats and dogs scheduled over the two days. It gets pretty hectic at times, but a very worthwhile activity for our society. I'll work Saturday but teach a Sunday School class so will miss Sunday's excitement.

We've got a black female cat in the shelter that I've taken a liking to. It's all I can do to not take her home. If she doesn't get adopted toward the end of the month I may have to have her. She has the prettiest head. It doesn't show up well in our shelter picture, but she is a pretty cat.

I got my stitching glasses adjusted today. I'm a little apprehensive about putting them on, because I'm afraid they may not work as well as my others. Guess I should try them out.
