SBEBB Christmas Ornament for Gaby

I heard from Gaby that she received my SBEBB Christmas ornament. I stitched "Sugar Plum Tree", by Rosewood Manor using the recommended fibers and some of the beads. What a fun design to stitch. Gaby says she loves it, and so do I. It's on my to-do list along with about a million other charts! This is the second exchange I've done for her this year. What a treat.

Have a great stitching week. Working on tonight: Christmas Partridge Pinkeep Pillow by Stacy Nash Primitives.

SBEBB Christmas Ornament from Goldie and a BD gift

I received a wonderful exchange from Goldie this week. She stitched me a teeny Noel ornament, which I absolutely love. Included in the exchange are some DMC thread, a needleroll chart with embellishment, a notepad, some gingham fabric, and a nifty candy cane pen. Thank you so much Goldie. This ornie is the second one I've received from her. So, now, I have two fantastic stitched pieces from Goldie!

I stitched this Stacy Nash Primitive for my friend Mary Ann's birthday. Albeit, it was extremely late. Better late than never? Isn't that right. She said she loves it. I know I enjoyed stitching it. Primitives have become a favorite stitch for me.

Hoe Christmas Ornament for Gabi, SBEBB Reindeer Games from Edgar

I receive word that Gabi received my HoE ornament and goodies. I stitched the freebie "Sparkle Jingle Joy" by Midsummer Night Dreams on 32ct opalescent fabric and added some blending filament to the floss I used. I like sparkle in Christmas ornaments! Gabi says she likes it. It was a fun stitch for me.

I also received the SBEBB Reindeer Exchange from Edgar. Oh, my what a treat for me. I've "coveted" one of his pieces, and now I have one. He also spoiled me with lots of reindeer goodies. Thank you so much Edgar! I love it.

Enjoy your stitching evening.

Harvest Time exchange received by Hazel

Hazel notified me she had received the SBEBB Harvest Time exchange I stitched for her. This was a no goodies exchange, so I didn't get to spoil her! I made one small booboo on the stitching, however, I did not notice it until I got ready to mail it. I forgot the tail feathers on the chicken. I told Hazel it was a pullet instead of a mature bird. You may recognize the design. I posted a photo a few days earlier. Hazel assures me she loves the bird, no tail and all. This is one of my favorite designs by Cindy of the Stitchworks in Tulsa. BTW, I borrowed Hazel's photo from her blog. I'm typing this at the Humane Society, it's a very slow day. Have a great stitching day.

HoE Christmas Ornament from Margaret S.

Yesterday the mailbox brought lots of goodies. An order from Stitches N Things, an order from Anita's Little Stitches and my HoE Christmas Ornament Exchange from Margaret S. This is the second exchange I've received from her. She does a wonderful job of choosing what she sends and it's all packed so neatly in a little box. I love the JOY needleroll she sent, and all the other goodies. She even sent sugar free candy since I'm a diabetic. Also in the package was some Christmas buttons, fabric, and frog stickers. Margaret said she included them because she has had an outbreak of frogs in her stitching lately! The little sack contains some neat beads, thread, and perfume. What a fantastic exchange. Margaret did good.

Floss tag received by Gaby

I heard from Gaby M. that she had received the HoE Floss Tag exchange I did for her. I stitched "Prim Friends....", a freebie from The Sampler Girl. It was my first primitive design stitch. Gaby says she likes the exchange. Here's a photos of the FT and goodies I sent:
I've been busy doing exchange stitching, so I have nothing new to show. Hope everyone has a great week. It's supposed to be rainy here. No matter, makes for a great stitching day.

Two exchanges received

Yesterday I received the HoE Floss Tag exchange from Margaret S. It's so great. She explained in detail how she chose the items. It is so fantastic. Here's what she wrote: "On reading your blog I saw you like animals, patriotic, cookbooks from organizations and gadgets. So this package is patriotic (Tartan box = my roots, red, white, & blue = your roots!); has some needlework gadgets; a cookbook I got as local fundraiser; this card is the animal (well bird) --the Tui is a native bird...and last but not least the the Floss Tags - my second attempt only." Now isn't that just the greatest? I love it all. Thank you Margaret. I stitched for Margaret in the HoE Mattress cushion exchange. I think our packages met each other on the way!

Then today I received the SBEBB Pumpkin Patch exchange from Karen K. She thoroughly spoiled me with one of my favorite patterns, Blessed Be, lots of fibers, great fabrics , a package of beads, button, and a pumpkin pattern. Who could ask for anything more? Thank you so much Karen. I love it all.

PIF from Jen R.

Earlier this year I signed up to participate in Jen R's PIF. I received my package over the weekend and here it is. Another bag makes two. I love it and the goodies she sent. Now, I didn't have anyone to sign up for my PIF, so I'm going to be offering some goodies before the end of the year to fullfil the PIF. Watch my blog for details later this month.

Nancy Pelosi pearls...not

My friend Diane and I like to wear pearls, big pearls. We call them our Nancy Pelosi pearls and wear them everywhere. Our big kick was to wear them at the Humane Society. Needless to say we have fun with them. Yesterday we met for lunch and this is what she gave me for my birthday. Purple pearls, a ring and notepads to have fun with. I'm getting ready to do my my election night SAL with the Stacy Nash group and to celebrate the occasion, I'm wearing my pearls! What fun.

Pumpkin Patch exchange received by Ulla

I see that Ulla received the SBEBB Pumpkin Patch exchange I sent her. I stitched this design while traveling on vacation last month. Check out the pins for the pinkeep. Made them myself and I think they turned out quite nice. I also included a thread winder, pins, and some yummy candy (my opinion!)

Don't forget to vote today.

HoE Matress Cushion to Margaret

I received an e-mail from Margaret S in New Zealand that she received the mattress cushion I stitched for her on the HoE board. I may have stitched three...first, last and only. For some reason my hands just could not master the corners. She assures me she likes it and the extras I sent. Here's the snap of the entire exchange.

Margaret said she like the acorn. I do too. The design is one of Anita's Little Stitches.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Birthday charts and Harvest Time exchange

Here's some charts I chose using a birthday gift certificate I received from Danielle. I tried to thank her, but her blog link doesn't work. So, thank you so much Danielle. I love the charts and was happy you were my partner on the Stitching Bloggers Birthday Exchange.
Friday I received my Harvest Time exchange from Michelle. I love it. It's my first pouch ever. Didn't she do a wonder job of finishing the design? She said it is from The Cricket Collection "Blessings Abound." It's hanging on the wall about my computer!
Today I've been stitching on an exchange piece myself and listening to college football while I stitch. Have a great weekend. Go OK State!
