Two more finishes

Well, here are my two latest finishes. I just can't show them to you because they are for exchanges. They were so much fun to do. I even experimented with a new shape. Guess I decided to go for it in 2010. One of my bus trips has already been cancelled. I was going to Louisiana for one of the Mardi Gras celebrations. This is one trip I was really looking forward to.
It is supposed to turn very cold here in the next couple of days. I already know what I plan on stitching. The Sampler Girl has a new freebie on her website and I have a Lizzie Kate exchange piece to stitch. So, there is really no shortage of projects for me.
Time for me to hit the hay. Hope everyone is staying warm.

Surprise pillow

I haven't blogged much these past weeks. Have been too tired to do much of anything. At this time I'm spending most afternoons with my mom taking care of business. As a result, stitching is something I just don't get to.

My Feathered Friends exchange is finished, the photos are taken, and now I have to get it packaged. My HoE Freebie exchange is stitched, but not finished. So, guess I have managed to sneak in a little stitching, just nothing I can show. Oh, and I did start a belated birthday gift for my sister.

A few weeks ago I left a comment on one of Mary Kathryn's blog post. I was one of the four who won a gift from her. Here's what she sent and I must say I love it.

Isn't my little fox lamp cute? I have a few unusual foxes sitting around my living room. More later.

Checking In

No stitching to show. I'm still working on exchanges and the mailing deadlines are getting close. Today I stitched on my N&T exchange. It is coming along nicely. It better be since I have to mail it next week. I think I can get the stitching done tonight, and the finishing done tomorrow and into the mail Monday or Tuesday. One never knows though, especially when I'm the one doing the stitching!

We had a slow week at the Humane Society. Our computer was in the repair shop a couple of days, one or two adoptions as I remember. Every adoption counts though, which means a life saved.

Hope everyone has a restful and productive stitching weekend.
