Miscellaneous stitched pieces

Before I discovered blogging and exchanges I purchased the monthly kits from my two LNS. Most of the kits were on large count fabric with various specialty threads. I had fun stitching these kits, and still have more than I like to admit to. So, as promised, here's a few that have been stitched, but not finished. The bottom heart is destined for a pinkeep one of these days, the little pilgrim is going to be a stand-up. I have the matching pilgrim lady also. I love Halloween, so I'll probably do a large pinkeep for it. The large blossom was designed to be a pillow, but with my Toby cat, I don't do pillows. I think I'll give the apple to a teacher friend of mine to finish as she so chooses.

This is what I woke up to this morning. I'm guessing it's about three or four inches. No shelter work for me today. Pam, the catkeeper, planned ahead yesterday and left extra food and water for the cats. The city ACO will take care of the dogs. So, as soon as I finish posting this, I'm going to stitch, stitch, stitch. I should be able to finish off my biscornu exchange. Yea. Have a great day.

All those little kits are just the sweetest. I especially like the heart. More snow, everyone I talk to it is "more snow" Hopefully spring will be here soon and you can forget it till next year.

Wow! What cute kits! I say stitch what you can and post when you can - don't let anyone make you feel bad for not doing enough. I am a slow stitcher, and although it bothers me sometimes, it's just the way I am. Big hugs! Thanks for sharing these photos too!

We seem to be getting your snow tonight so they say. It's coming our way.
All your little kits are working up nicely.
It is nice to have a snow day once in awhile to stitch stitch stitch.
Have a good one!

Becky, glad to see you are back! Love the little kits that you've stitched up. Yesterday morning on my way to work cars kept passing me with 6" of snow on them... Found out that overnight south of T-town got lots of it! We had a dusting on the grass here, but the roads were fine.

I think those kit patterns are cute... don't worry if you're a SLOW stitcher. If I was slower sometimes, perhaps my tendonitis wouldn't be flaring!!

Lovely finishes! Sometimes kits give us the best gratification.

Fun finishes. The Pilgrim will make an adorable standup, and I love the Halloween one as well (but then I have a weakness for Halloween pieces, LOL). The snow is sure pretty, but I'm so tired of it. Hopefully the front that recently passed through will be it for the winter. Hope you had a fun and productive stitching day.

Those kit projects are all adorable. I also think the Pilgrim would look good as a stand-up. And the apple alphabet is perfect for a teacher.
